New to waxing?

You likely have some questions, we've got you covered. Check below to guide you through your first appointment with us at The Wax Room.

 

Rest assured, with waxing being our specialty, you're in safe hands. Our dedicated therapists will ensure you feel at ease throughout your entire appointment.

New to Waxing?

If you're new to waxing and have relied on shaving or hair removal creams in the past, it's important to note that a minimum of 4 weeks' worth of hair growth is necessary for optimal results during your initial waxing session. If the hair hasn't reached the required length for effective waxing, we regret that we won't be able to proceed with the service, and the appointment will still incur charges.

Please ensure that your hair is at least the length of a grain of rice – no stubble! This ensures the best experience and outcome for your waxing appointment.

Pre-treatment care

Make sure to exfoliate your skin 24 hours before your waxing appointment to help release trapped hairs. Additionally, exfoliation should be part of your routine 1-3 times a week leading up to your wax. While we can address individual ingrown hairs during your appointment. Remember, regular exfoliation is crucial for achieving optimal waxing results.

Your first appointment 

Please ensure punctuality for your appointment. Arriving more than 5 minutes late may require rescheduling, with the booking fee retained, or may result in incomplete services. We kindly ask for your understanding as our carefully managed schedule ensures minimal inconvenience to other clients.

 

Please check your email for a digital consultation form; complete it before your appointment to ensure a smooth process. If email access is unavailable, arrive 10 minutes early to fill out the form on our iPad. Your safety and satisfaction are paramount, and adhering to these guidelines helps us provide the best service possible.

Booking Policy

Booking Fees: We kindly request a 50% deposit for all bookings, in accordance with our terms and conditions, which are accessible via the email reminders we send.

Rescheduling: You are welcome to reschedule your appointment with 48 hours' notice, and the booking fee will be seamlessly transferred to the new appointment. However, for changes made with less than 48 hours' notice, we must retain the deposit.

Cancellations: Should you need to cancel your booking, a full refund is available with at least 48 hours' notice. This enables us to efficiently manage our schedule and accommodate other clients.
